By landing Pick 12 from Carlton in the Charlie Curnow trade, the Swans now hold two picks inside the first 13 (2 and 12). Expect them to target a key-position player and a running mid with their first two selections.

The Saints sent their first-rounder to Richmond (Dan Houston deal) and a third-rounder to Melbourne (Jack Steele). They hold only Picks 19 and 38 — the shallowest draft hand of any club. This signals faith in their existing young core.
